How to take Imodium Capsules

To begin your therapy, consume two Imodium Capsules with a drink of water, then take another capsule after each loose bowel movement. Don’t take more than six capsules in any 24 hours. Don’t forget to drink more fluids than usual to replace the fluid that your body loses when you’ve got diarrhoea.

How long to take Loperamide 2mg for?

If you’re treating short term diarrhoea, then you shouldn’t take Imodium Loperamide Capsules for over two days. If your diarrhoea lasts more than this, cease use and talk to your physician. If you’re treating diarrhoea brought on by IBS, then you can take this medication for as much as two weeks at a time to deal with repeated attacks. But, you shouldn’t take this product to take care of any attack that lasts more than two days. Speak with your health care provider if your diarrhoea lasts for over 48 hours or if your symptoms haven’t improved after two weeks.
