Description

Artemether-lumefantrine is a drug from the family of multiple therapies called Artemisinin-based combination therapy used as tertiary therapy and prevention in cases of uncomplicated malaria. It is composed by the association of two molecules: artemether and lumefantrine.
The recommended total dose is 6 doses of 1 to 3 tablets depending on body weight: Body weight from 5 kg to less than 15 kg: First intake at the time of diagnosis: 1 tablet. Then 5 doses of 1 tablet 8, 24, 36, 48 and 60 hours after the first dose
